The Mini Cooper scores an impressive 5 stars for the NCAP (brand new release Car Assessment Program) driver-side impact and roll-over crash tests. The Coop also scored 4 stars for the front and rear impact crash test.

 
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has been conducting the NCAP for a period of years now. The 2008 Mini Cooper is one of the most recent and most successful highlights of the NCAP.  The Coop managed to earn the highest rating (5) for two tests and scored a respectcapable 4 for two other crash tests.

The Mini Coop garnered praises for the exceptional performance of the vehicle’s safety system. The Coop managed to perform well in the test because it houses a total of six airbags. Mazda CX-5

The upcoming 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon Mazda Motor Corporation (MMC) plans to display the ten best products. The latest product in the class, SUV Mazda CX-5 which will also appear in the automotive arena, held 13 to 15 January 2011 at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center, Chiba.

Tokyo Auto Show later, two units of the Mazda CX-5 will be showcased. This step is a campaign introducing SKYACTIV technology which is claimed to improve driving performance and environmental friendliness. Mazda’s own CX-5 will be launched in spring 2012.

1. Mazda CX-5

In the hybrid car market can not be denied that the Toyota Prius is the champion. However, the predicate is to be disturbed by General Motors. Because GM is now planning to produce the Chevrolet Cruze 2012  the plug-in hybrid version.

GM explained that environmentally friendly cars is actually already started on test at the headquarters of Chevrolet in the United States since a year ago, this car will be produced to accompany the Chevrolet Volt which now the only one advanced environmentally friendly electric cars owned by Chevrolet.

Chief Engineer for the Global Compact, Small, Mini and Electric Vehicles GM, Jim Federico explained that the two cars that both the Volt and Cruze will not interfere with each other.

Because if the Volt has a purely conventional engine to charge the lithium-ion battery that exists to extend the distance, plug-in Cruze will be a hybrid with external charging capabilities, such as the Prius PHEV.

“Plug-in Cruze has a place as a hybrid car,”

On the other side, GM in September had also announced the commencement of the trial of an electric version of the Cruze in Seoul, South Korea’s capital, which also produces the Cruze.
