some people said that if we are doing a driving for a long distance, we should wait a minutes after stopping to turn off the engine, is it true or just a mhyts? because some people said that it will give bad effect to engine. we will answer it now
based on my study, they’re saying that because all liquids run hot within the vehicle. they think if you shut down the engine immediately after driving a long distance, the hot fluids will cool too rapidly and will start to choke the lines. This is not true at all. Since most liquids that you add to the car are oil- based, it won’t become jellied. Rapid coolness is much better for oil-based liquids because if it stays in one spot too long it could expand the rubber lines, so it is better to shut your car off after long distances for the benefit of saving gas and saving your rubber fluid lines.
